The Melangell Hare Print
Price £180.00
Collagraph by Clare Keys
Melangell is the patron saint of hares, a Celtic princess who escaped an unwanted arranged marriage. She took refuge in the Pennant Valley and created a place of peace and sanctuary for animals and people in need.
Collagraphs are created by building up layers of different textures on a flat surface and varnishing to produce a 'plate'. This can then be used to create prints in variant colours. The plates are used for a limited edition of 15 prints.
A collection of cards featuring the collagraphs and stories can be found HERE

Celtic Legends
Celtic Legends beyond the bronze.
The Mallon collection of bronze sculptures are inspired by Celtic myths and legends. These stories were told around firesides by our ancestors, common themes emerging right across Europe. The same stories have inspired the beautiful illustrations by artists David Rooney and Clare Keys.
